Marlboro, NJ: A Family-Friendly Suburban Oasis

For our first town highlight here at the Klimov Group, I really wanted to talk about my neighborhood and the place that got me to fall in love with NJ in the first place. Marlboro Township/Morganville boasts top-rated schools, providing an excellent education for children and an amazing environment where kids really thrive. The community’s dedication to education shines through in absolutely every aspect, with each incredible teacher, security guard, administrator, sports coach, etc. The reason why I add Morganville into the mix is because it is a community within Marlboro Township, just with a different zip code.

I was fortunate enough to be introduced to this little suburban piece of heaven because I had family and friends that moved here from NYC prior. Another HUGE factor for me was Marlboro’s convenient location, which is close to major highways, the nearby Jersey Shore, & NYC, making it an ideal place for those seeking a balance between suburban and city life. With an array of parks and recreational facilities, including the stunning Marlboro Memorial Park, outdoor enthusiasts are in for a treat. These green spaces offer residents opportunities to unwind, connect with nature, and enjoy various activities. For a full list of parks and recreational facilities click here.

Restaurants

There is no shortage of amazing restaurants throughout Marlboro, NJ that range from casual family eateries to the more upscale options. I have a couple of personal favorites in Marlboro, NJ and my hands down favorite Italian spot is Il Nido! With completely organic dishes made from scratch, and a sexy atmosphere this restaurant is my fave for date night! A great family option is Fireside Grill & Bar and one of my favorite times to go is during football Sunday! Incredible food, very family friendly atmosphere and the sweetest staff you can ask for! Trust me; it’s the kind of place your kids will eagerly rush to every chance they get! So, whether you’re seeking a romantic evening or a lively family gathering, Marlboro’s restaurants have something exquisite in store for every occasion. The surrounding towns like Colts Neck, Manalapan and Holmdel also offer incredible options for restaurants as well as scenic farmland and a ton of things to do with the family!

**** Pumpkin picking is also a must in October!

For many commuters residing in Marlboro, easy access to transportation is paramount, especially for those who rely on daily commutes to New York City. The town understands the needs of its residents, and that’s why Marlboro is well-connected through NJ Transit Bus Route 139. Operating every half an hour, seven days a week, this efficient service ensures that commuters reach the heart of New York City at the Port Authority in 30 minutes.
